American Heart Association Courses offered by Jolt CPR: All courses are taught by AHA standards with the most current 2010 guidelines. Jolt CPR has regularly scheduled classes in Bozeman. Please call or email for the current schedule of classes. We offer group rates as well as non-profit organizational discounts. Jolt CPR will also travel to you or your facility in order to accommodate any needs you may have. Our background and experience allows us to offer classes that are both fun and educational. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers: (Both New and Renewal Courses)
The BLS course is designed to give the healthcare professional the skills they need to perform live saving steps in the professional setting. The class encompasses CPR for both single and two-person rescue in adults, children, and infants. As well as, the use of CPR barriers, bag-valve masks, managing CPR for an advanced airway, AED, and choking. The certification is valid for two years from the date of completion. Course fee: $70.00
Heartsaver CPR AED
This course is designed for the person with little or no medical experience and will complete most requirements for non-related medical jobs requiring CPR. The student will learn basic CPR skills for adult infant and child, as well as use of CPR barriers, AED, and infant choking. Upon completing the class the student will receive a certification card good for two years. Course fee: $60.00
Heartsaver First Aid:
A basic First Aid course which includes breathing problems, choking, allergic reactions, chest pain and heart attacks, fainting, diabetes, strokes, seizures, shock, external and internal bleeding, head and spine injuries, broken bones and sprains, burns, electrocutions, animal, insect and snake bites, poisoning, and heat and cold related emergencies. This course fulfills requirements for most jobs requiring a First Aid course. Upon completion of the course the student will receive a certification card good for two years. Course fee: $60.00
Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED:
This course combines the basic first aid course with the CPR AED course allowing the student to complete both courses as one. Upon completion of the course the student will receive a certification card good for two years. Course fee: $100.00
Heartsaver ® Blood-borne Pathogens:
This course is designed to help students learn what to do when there is danger of or has been exposure to blood-borne pathogens in the workplace. IT is designed to meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements for Blood-borne Pathogen training when it is paired with site-specific instruction. Students receive Participation Certificate upon completion. Course fee: $30.00
Family & Friends® CPR:
The perfect class for the person that would to learn CPR for their own benefit. The Family & Friends CPR Course teaches the lifesaving skills of adult Hands-Only® CPR, child CPR with breaths, adult and child AED use, infant CPR and relief of choking in an adult, child or infant. Course fee: $35.00
American Heart Association Skills Testing:
Several of the American Heart Association courses are offered as online classes. If the course is taken online, many of them still require that a skills test be taken in front of a certified American Heart Association instructor. We will need a copy of the certificate of completion from an American Heart Association site in order to administer a skills test. We file all of the paperwork and will issue the card which is good for two years upon successfully completing the test. Skills testing fee: $40-$60 depending on course.
